Mazars Thailand Organises CEO Bicyle Work Day In Bangkok - Mazars - Thailand

In celebration of the New Year and the sudden appearance of the first ever bicycle lanes in the main business district of Bangkok, Mazars managing partner Bruce Darrington invited 30 CEOs to assemble at lunch time on 9th January in the main Lumpini Park. They then made an assault on the bicycle lanes of Sathorn Road followed by a healthy "Thai" lunch at Mazars offices, situated conveniently at the end of the cycle lane.

Bruce Darrington CEO of Mazars, a large accounting firm in Bangkok, is now encouraging as many of his employees to come to work on a bicycle as is feasible and said that: "Cycling to work, rather than driving or taking public transport, is a great way to use otherwise wasted time in the day in order to stay healthy and fit".

The President and CEO of Standard Chartered Bank, Mr. Mark Devadason added that: "I am pleased to see that the BMA has introduced the bicycle lane in Sathorn with the congestion this has become the fastest way to get around the Sathorn/Silom business district"
