On the evening of 16 July 2009, staff from the Mazars Audit, Accounting, Tax and Legal practices were joined by both clients and friends of the firm for a double celebration: the 10-year anniversary of the Double Impact Group as well as the introduction of the new Managing Director Rob Hurenkamp.
The 1st July 2009 marked the ten year anniversary of the foundation of the Double Impact Group in Thailand. In 1999, Double Impact was founded as a strategic advisory consultancy practice by Bruce Darrington, who soon afterwards began the process of turning the group into a full blown Audit, Accounting and Business Advisory practice. After merging with the Mazars Global Partnership in February 2008, the renamed Mazars Double Impact is able to provide a full range of services including Accounting, Audit, Tax, Legal, Company Setup, Payroll Outsourcing and Work Permit/Visa applications.

Rob Hurenkamp joined Mazars in 2007 as a Director in the Audit Practice. In September 2008, he was elected as a Mazars Global Partner. He is also a member of the Netherlands Institute of Certified Public Auditors (NIVRA), and is an advisor to the Netherlands Thai Chamber of Commerce.
The cocktail party, attended by over 200 guests, was held at the recently-expanded Mazars Thailand office.
