Extension of Import Tax Exemptions on Flood Damaged Machinery
In November 2011, the Thai Board of Investment (‘BOI’) granted import tax exemptions on the machinery brought in to replace those which were damaged by the floods.

The Board of Investment (‘BOI’) has extended the import tax exemption from 30 June 2012 to 31 December 2012. The exemption also covers imported machines with a higher capacity than those damaged by the floods.
