New service centre launched for investors in Thailand
The government has launched the new 'One Start One Stop Investment Centre' (‘OSOS’) for investors in Thailand. Around 20 government agencies will provide their services for both new and existing investors with no restriction on the types of company eligible to use the facility.

According to OSOS “our staff will help investors with various applications to make sure investors understand what is needed to register a company, obtain investment promotion privileges, obtain a foreign business license, complete an environmental impact assessment, request permission to use land for industrial operations and obtain utilities etc.”
One advantage being promoted by OSOS is that investors will no longer be required to visit several government agencies at various locations to address their issues, thus saving time.
The centre was launched on 23 November 2009 at Chamjuree Square Building, Rama 4, the same location soon to be used by the One Stop Service Centre for Visas and Work Permits.
