During this period, tourists from 64 countries (see the link below) will be allowed to extend their stay in Thailand. Foreigners with 30-day visas entering Thailand through an international airport or a border checkpoint on land for tourism purposes will be allowed to stay in Thailand for no more than 45 days.

This measure does not affect those holding passports from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, South Korea, or Peru when entering Thailand, as people from these countries can stay in Thailand for 90 days each visit.

The visa on arrival will be extended from 15 days to 30 days.
